Thank you for your interest in learning more about foster care. Among other things, this site will give you information about the history of foster care, as well as changes that have been made (and those that STILL need to be made). You will also find stories from and about foster children, and how their lives have been changed (for both good and bad) by their experiences within the foster care system.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to educating the world about foster care and the effects it has on those involved in it.
We believe that the only way to change the future for foster children is to embrace every member of the foster care community and empower them to work together for the best interests of the children they care about.

Janettee McCrary
Alumni & Advocate
Alumni Janettee McCrary experienced both good and bad within the system during her 12 years in foster care. She has dedicated herself to sharing the stories of foster children and helping promote changes. She is also a biological mother who wants to change the way biological families are typically treated and judged by not only those in the foster care community, but the general public.
